Mr. Gomez is a software executive in the fields of Business Intelligence and Management Information Systems. His past work includes the implementation of large systems for customers in the Telecommunications, Banking, and e-Commerce industries. Mr. Gomez was co-founder in 1994 of Vento Software Inc. As Chief Technology Officer, he developed the first generation of the VentoMap™ product line, which was successfully installed at over 50 telecommunications and banking sites worldwide. 

Mr. Gomez is a private investor in early stage companies. He is chairman of Tech2010, a mentor with Dakota Rising, and is actively engaged in bringing technology entrepreneurship to western South Dakota. Mr. Gomez started his career with IBM where he was a software engineer.  He holds a Computer Science degree from Georgia Tech and a postgraduate degree in business from the London School of Economics. Email: jgomez@functionit.com
